Cryptomatte question: multichannel to single channels and vice versa

Hi there,
Has anyone successfully converted these 1 way or another?
Openclips wants single channels but Nuke doesn’t seem to handle them.

FWIW, I have 4 text files with oiio outputs

So I’m wondering if someone tried to recombine the singles into a multi in nuke, then edit the metadata with oiio maybe … :nerd_face: :exploding_head: :partying_face:

combining 3 single channels to a multichannel writeFile works in Flame somehow, but not in Nuke.
It’s missing all the vray metadata

You may need to copy the metadata and enable it in the write node.

One of our lighting leads got it to work in Nuke
