De-install Flame 2021 before upgrading to Flame 2025 (and Sequoia)?

Hello

should I remove/deinstall Flame 2021 before upgrading to macOS 15 Sequoia
and Flame 2025?

Unfortunaltely there are no Flame archives of the projects available and I was unable to make archives from the CLI/Terminal ( ./flame_archive -f -F /tmp/0072_Tests_Audio_2022031 -i 25 )

Did you navigate to /opt/Autodesk/io/bin first?
Try running your command from that location or include the full path in your command

Yes… and formatting the archive with the following command seems to work:

imac-admin@imac-admins-iMac bin % sudo ./flame_archive -f -F /tmp/0072_Tests_Audio_20220311 -i 25

imac-admin@imac-admins-iMac /tmp % ls -lisa

Trying to write the archive to /tmp:

imac-admin@imac-admins-iMac bin % sudo ./flame_archive -a -P 0072_Tests_Audio_20220311 -F /tmp/0072_Tests_Audio_20220311

Removing reference on '/opt/Autodesk/clip/stonefs7/0072_Tests_Audio_20220311.prj/.locks/PrjProjectEntry.ref' held by dead process 'Flame/884' on 'imac-admins-iMac/AD7331BF-9865-481C-AB3B-FB79951527F4'.

This is the last line of the output in Terminal, but nothing is written to /tmp…

Any additional feedback is appreciated

I was the problem, or rather, my lack of patience.

This archiving job was taking much longer than I expected, and I had the impression that the process might be stuck.

Additionally, I was irritated by the messages that Flame displayed while creating the archive.
