Disorted Font Issue in Autodesk Flame 2023.3.2, 2024.2.2 & 2025 Version

Hello Support,
I am writing to report a critical issue that our team has been experiencing with distorted fonts in Autodesk Flame versions 2023.3.2, 2024.2.2, and 2025. We have encountered several problems while working with text, which is severely affecting our workflow and project timelines. The issue does not appear in Autodesk Flame version 2022.3.1, where the fonts work as expected.

Given the significant impact this is having on our operations, we would appreciate your urgent assistance in investigating and resolving the issue. If there are any troubleshooting steps we can take or if you require additional information from our end, please let us know.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to your prompt response and support in resolving the issue.

It seems like the font is designed in an unstandard way. Google fonts are like this. It’s weird that it works OK in 2022.

We discussed this issue on discord. Here are some links you can use to fix the fonts.

Actually I was having similar weird problems with Helvetica Neue for legals today. I loaded up an old setup and some of the letters were outlined rather than solid. I got another version of the font, and rather than load the font from my system library where all my system fonts are stored I went to the folder that contained the newly downloaded font and opened direct from there. It worked. Hope it may be helpful.
