eGPU for Flame

Does anyone know if it is possible for Flame to use an eGPU on an iMac?

As far as I am aware, it is not but thought I’d ask. If you have got it working, can you tell me how?!!

Hi, i did some test last year with a script that enable eGPU on software that are not supported.
The script worked but flame could not use both gpu on the same time.
At the end i got worst result in rendering time with eGPU enable and also i could not playback the timeline smoothly.
In other words… what Grant said.

Thanks for confirming what I thought was the case. Always good to get some reassurance that you’re not talking out of your arse!!
