i’m running osx flame 2022.1 and the former working and installed “export srt”-python script isn’t working anymore and it is not included in the logik-portal 2.7
anyone has an idea, where i can find it or how i can export my txt-timeline effects as a srt?

Is there a timeline length limitation with this script?
I have a timeline that’s roughly 90mins long and when I run this script it appears to be working but nothing is exported. If I select 5mins of the film it will export a SRT.
Flame 2021.2.2
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looking into exporting SRT from Flame and found this old thread. Looks like the ‘export srt’ script has been dropped - probably because you 've been able to export natively from the Subtitles track since 2024. Is this right? @MikeV
It would be great if it’s still available somewhere. We still use Text (not Type as we’re 2025) and not Subtitle track as it doesn’t offer enough design control. But a couple of times recently we’ve been asked to provide an SRT as a deliverable.
I’m continually frustrated by this. I generally make a version of the spot with the VO splits and make my SRT in Premier.
Yea, I took that one down a bit ago after the Subtitle stuff was added to Flame. I haven’t updated it since 2022. I just did a quick update to it to work with PySide6 and added it back to the Logik Portal. You can download it through the Logik Portal script or here: Scripts — Logik Portal
