Hi all.
A friend of mine had to change facing of à yogourt on a brunch of shots in After effects.
For 1 of them, thé camera move was a bit more tricky and he couldn’t do it. I gave him a hand and did it in flame.
I was able to get a very decent caméra track, and place a geometry at thé exact right place.
As he as to do several versions of thé shot, I Wolf like to know what I should export to after effect so he can easily change thé facings using my track.
What is thé correct was to use in AFX? (UV, fbx, anyhting else)
AE is odd in that it is faux 3d environment - I’ve had really good luck bringing my abc/fbx exports into blender, and using their io script to get the cameras and locators into AE in a friendly manner.
I always use BlenderAE which is really easy to import/export camera and some other basic geometories between Blender and AE.
BlenderAE is really useful and stable I was helped many timies, but sometimes I wonder why we have to use third-party app or plugin to only import/export camera from AE…
Thank you all. I’ll give that a try on Monday.
Export camera and geometry from flame to blender and then again from blender to AE.
Will try also directly from flame to AE just to see
