Issue with Gmask Creating TV Damage Offset During Animation

Hello everyone,

I’m experiencing a problem with my Gmask and I’m hoping someone here might be able to help. Whenever I create a Gmask and then animate it, I notice a strange TV damage offset effect appears along the borders. This distortion is making it impossible for me to perform accurate roto work.

Has anyone else encountered this issue or have any suggestions on how to fix it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Interlacing. Not knowing how the project is set up, what the source footage is or what mode you should be rendering in, I can’t say if it’s wrong or not, but you are looking at an interlaced frame on a progressive monitor.

Other option might be motion blur turned on in the gmask
