Seems like a new variant of the licensing error has emerged. Adding this here, in case someone else needs it.
Ever since upgrading to the last version of MacOS 15.7.4, I can’t start Flame without an extra detour through resetting the licensing system. It may not be MacOS related, though it killed some other extension permission, so I’m happy to blame Apple on this one.
So here is my routine for starting Flame on Mac now (2026.2.1 + MacOS 15.7.4)
- terminal + ./startApplication
- get licensing error
- use the LicensingSupportTool to launch the tool ui
- reset 2026.2.1 instance from ‘user’ to ‘none’
- restart Flame
- go through all the browser logins
- start work
It’s been consistently like that for the last week.
My guess is the OS upgrade blocked something ADSK needs.
