Just wondering, has anyone successfully moved projects from one system to another and pointed to a SAN hosted framestore?
Just want to know if it is possible or if I need to archive off everything to move it to the new system.
So the frame path values in swdb seem to be relative to the partition path defined in stone+wire.cfg, suggesting you could carefully relocate this, but I just like … wouldn’t do this. Archive the lot out of diligence and then try it.

You’re right. I think I’d just be trying to cut corners with a whole lot of unnecessary risk.
Looks like some diligent archiving could be in order instead.
