Looks like I have to update the url for my link there. It’s taking me through Discord/Distract and not direct to the FR.

Link updated. It’s also here:

I have nothing to offer in the way of solutions for TL management. However, just wanted to chime in as one who often has to many active TL’s open…i’ve experienced the confusion, found myself working on the wrong sequence…and it kind of snowballs from there and as led to some very confusing export sessions. The struggle is real…

After using Flame for many years I’m quite used to the MediaPanel ( I never use reels view).
I always open every sequence as a record clip, just to be sure I open the right clip. I don’t see any use for a green source clip…

But yes this will be a nice addition I think!

@fredwarren Actually no. The export option seems to look at whats highlighted in the media list so your player could be looking at one thing and the highlight is on another.

You are assuming that we wouldn’t make the Export function actually export the Sequence you would clicked on…

Well yes. At the moment if you use the hot key to export command-E, flame will export the highlighted media list item. How would that work with an additional contextual export feature. Will we be able to map a hot key to it?

There could be a keyboard shortcut, but it would be a different one. So one for Selected Clip(s) and one for Current Sequence.

Found the problem!
