Hi All,
I’m having a brain-fart moment…
Is there a way to minimize the paint interface to the bottom of the screen but still see info/be able to change brush types? I’m in despot hell and really need maximise the image while switching brush types. Ctrl swipe down doesn’t seem to give me any brush options.
I thought this was possible?
Thanks,
Rich
You can set a number of brushes as presets and use the hot keys 0 1 2 3 4 … to call them up whilst in full screen mode.
Thanks for that Richard - I’ve got that working but I though there was a full screen view that showed main brush controls - maybe I’m thinking of desk paint…
Yep just checked - desk paint only
Hi Richard,
In Desktop Paint, a CONTROL+SWIPE down would minimize the controls with a few small pallette choices.
In Bath Paint, a CONTROL+SWIPE would also minimize the controls but it would show the player controls instead. This is because it is the same behaviour for every tool in Batch. As mentioned, use the Brush Sets assigned to the numeric keys on your keyboard to change brush settings and you should be good to go.
Hope this helps!
Grant
Got it, thanks Grant. I’m working remotely via teradici and have to do quite a slow swipe down to get to that menu - took quite a lot of frustration to work that one out! All good now though, thanks.
@richardamckeand In addition to Ctrl-Swipe you can use the Toggle Full Screen Area Under Cursor keyboard shortcut to achieve the same result. It is assign to Spacebar (
being the key to the left of 1 on your keyboard) by default but you can change the keystroke to your lining in the editor. Note that the cursor has to be over the viewport area.
Nice hotkey
That’s brilliant - I never knew that existed - I’ll be using it in action & the tracer all the time
Use the mouse instead for swipe downs. Same goes for alt swipe down in master grade.
