Resize to other than project resolution

Hello

resized a 1.667 AR shot to AR 1.5 in Desktop Resize (this time w/o AutoKey on:) After rendering the clip an aspect ratio of 1.778 is indicated…

Question:
Am I doing something wrong or is it not possible to resize to 1.5 if the project resolution is 1920x1080 (1.778) ?
