I actually used string as an analogy for length of time. The client didn’t understand why different frame rates for our deliveries had the same length of audio (?!) so I said, think of your audio as a piece of string. Your :30 second commercial is only this long…and I held up a piece of string. They were like…oohhhhhhhh.
