I’ve just been given a bunch of mp4 rushes transcoded to 720p as proxy’s and Flame doesn’t recognise the source code. Premiere does and resolve doesnt.
Anyone come across this? Might have to cut the job in premiere or maybe re transcode the clips.
Well it looks like that if I transcode the mp4’s to prores the code is then recognised by flame.

I don’t think MP4 has an official or standard SMPTE timecode tag; Adobe has made up their own personal version (much like ProTools has with WAV) that only other Adobe apps pay attention to.
