To my understanding, the Flame Subtitle feature (SUB TL FX) can export subtitles either as burned-in or as SRT files. Exporting subtitles as SRT makes sense to me.
What’s the advantage of using the subtitle feature if the text is burned in, compared to “normal” text created with TYPE?

Type Node is creative and has more customization and deep integration with compositing and motion graphics. The Subtitle Track is a technical, time-based tool dedicated to the efficient management, timing, and most importantly, the import and export of SRT files, making it essential for accessibility and localization delivery. If you are manually typing in the subtitles, there isn’t a whole lot of difference. If you have SRT files then you have to use subtitles to benefit from that.
In short, use the Type Node when you need maximum creative control and integration for titles and graphics. Use the Subtitle Track when your primary goal is to manage, time, and export standardized subtitle files efficiently.
