Does anyone know if it’s possible to lock timeline markers in place? I’ve searched the help documentation and found nothing.
Hmmm…I don’t believe so. I get around this by putting the marker on a gap above a segment.

Not sure if this will solve your problem but you can add a segment marker instead and it will stick with the clip. smoke keys shift-rightctl

I’d add my support to that along with my pet peeve that the markers come across to your record segment when doing an overwrite. Gets mighty confusing if you are doing a cutdown that now has 300 markers all over it.
