Unable to cut node connection in BFX/Batch

HELP.

Something weird has happed to my flame. In any batch in any project I cannot cut a node connection in schematic view. Same issue using mouse or pen. I can cut node connection in Action, just not working in batch/bfx. No red line. Control draw shows the red bounding box. Restarted twice.

I’m going crazy. What could it be? My job has come to a holt.

if you have this config set in batch prefs you lose the ability to cut in select mode:

When Auto Parent is disabled, you need to select the Connect tool instead of the Select tool to create connections and sever them.
