Adobe fonts

Hi all - anyone got any natty ways of seeing the downloaded adobe fonts? I would love to access them in flame.

I’ve used this a few times and it seems to do the trick nicely.

Actually - ignore me this is super simple. im not really too up to speed with creative cloud for adobe. but you just install the fonts for all users. and bam. its in the local flame font folder. easy peasy - sorry!

Never occurred to me that it was so simple on Mac. I was about to give you the 25 step process to get them into linux.

maybe this is because of the new type tool? I dont think the old one could access the Mac fonts. plus the fact I didnt know it was possible to make the adobe ones local!

They are not available in the Text tool, but they are in the Type tool. The fonts need to be downloaded.

this is a great addition. being able to properly access the system fonts is great. can we now incorporate variable/dynamic fonts too please

Please submit a Flame Feedback request for it.

If you mean being able to change the whole timeline to a different font, It’s there now.

Variable fonts are fonts that allow for multiple variations within a single file. so you have dynamic control over weight width and slant.

Do you mean this:

Hi - no - it’s a highly customisable new font package. You can adjust all parameters at once, you can drag and change the weight and add all this as keyframes. Also it will expand and compress titles for effect. It’s super cool.
