For those following color grading and film look design, an interesting presentation by Daniele Siragusano, Image Engineer at Filmlight, on a novel approach to look design (getting past film emulation LUTs, and understanding perceptive preferences behind our obsession with the film emulation). Chromogen, the new look development tool will premiere in Baselight 6 when it comes out in a few weeks. It features a new color space and 10 new operators for color shaping.
