I find myself getting sad when I connect a green dot to a red input and the dot goes gray. I wish it would stay green, or go red. Any color really.
I would also like the software to throw up a “YOU HAVEN’T EVEN NAMED THIS BATCH AND ITS BEEN AN HOUR, YOU’VE TRACKED A CAMERA AND DONE ROTO. PLEASE SAVE!” popup. I commit this crime often.

Auto save is doing all of that shit

Don’t make flame nag
Life is short
Quit flame and tell me that I’m wrong

Dont do quit flame to test that theory if you’re crippling your mind with whatever the favorite tourniquet is like flame 2012 or some stupid shit like that.
I would love a feature to be able to see how many of each node I’ve used in my lifetime. Gmask and Gmask Tracer… that would be the clear winner. After that probably matte edge or comp.
That will be the sound the Flame makes when it finds out you’ll be getting yet another round of revisions or there’s more “new color” coming when you’re on your 14th hour and the “unmissable deadline” is 30 minutes away.
Yeah, I know, but gray isn’t a fun color. It’s like, the utility color. The reason I put it in a thread about silly requests is because I know there isn’t a clear better answer, only alternatives that are likely to upset different people.
To get mildly scandalous, I would argue it’s time to retire the green inputs alltogether, and leave red for images and blue for mattes.
But again: silly feature requests.
I’d be just as happy if I heard the Nelson laugh every time I loaded a batch setup that hasn’t been touched for a few days. Haha.
