Logi Keyboard problem on Mac Studio M1 ultra

I’ve been using this Logi MX Keys S keyboard with my M1 studio for a few years. I am currently running 2025.2.3. In the middle of a job yesterday my hotkeys “changed”, although the shortcuts menu did not change. I’m not sure but I think it happened after I did a full reboot. Many reboots later, they are really gone - both my custom ones and the standard ones although again, the shortcuts menu says they are there. I found that I could access some of them by using opt or cntrl instead of alt/cmd. I tried toggling to different keyboard types into the shortcuts menu to no avail. I reloaded factory settings for all the shortcuts but still, no functionality that I recognize. I’m pretty sure its an issue with my keyboard. I’m guessing I fat fingered something on it somewhere, but I have no idea how to fix it. Thanks in advance for any help.

Seems like you switched your keyboard to a Windows layout.

From Claud, " There’s a manual layout override that’s easy to trigger by accident. Holding Fn+P for about three seconds forces Windows layout; Fn+O forces Mac layout. There’s also Fn+U, which swaps the #/~ and >/< key positions. All three sit in the normal typing area, so a stray Fn press while reaching for something in Flame can flip you. The tell is that your modifiers stop behaving: Option and Command start acting like Alt and Win, and the tilde/backtick and bracket keys land in the wrong spots."

Thanks Austin, I think that fixes it. Phew!!

Function U

that has to be a t-shirt…
