It’s in the hands of my tech team
ive been having the same issue… have to hit Esc to fix it… ive been hitting the button a lot with these micro Freezes.
i’m on Linux, 22.1
Just happened to me while on play in timeline . Lixux, 22.1 ver. recently updated. Hitting esc and alt ain’t helping.
I constantly get:
dlCheckGLError: LX_INVALID_ENUM
dlCheckGLError: Texture::reset()
And is it just linux boxes that do this?
I am using 3 different Macs for Flame, I’ve not yet experienced what you describe.
Same here, no freezes on 2 macs, just the linux box.
Hi,
The Micro freezes situation affects Linux only, not MacOS.
Best,
Yann
Thanks for clarifying Yann.
Any news on what is causing it, or indeed a solution?
Hi @paul_round,
As mentioned, most of the causes of the micro-freezes are addressed in 2022.2.
If the situation persists in 2022.2, we recommend the users contact our technical support team so that our engineers can follow up.
Done.
I still have some micro freezes with 2022.2 on CentOs 7.4. Can anyone confirm if they get the micro freezes with CentOS 8? I would upgrade to 8 if that clears it up.
i se very similar on mac (not in fron tof it right now so can’t say exactly the wording but its very close)
Just following up to see if anyone figured out a fix on this yet? … we upgraded to 2022x2 and still get freezes.
happy new year !
You need to let our ADSK friends know.
I’ve been in constant contact with AD over this.
Today, I found myself not getting any micro freezes and then realised I’d accidentally turned Auto Key off, so I think this may have something to do with it.
To expand on that, less freezes, rather than none.
@YannLaforest any updates on this issue? Will it be fixed in 2023?
It’s driving me crazy at the moment, especially trying to draw intricate roto, when it freezes, I lose the ability to finish my shape and have to start again.
It’s still killing us, too. Not being able to play back a :60 for client review without the risk of it freezing up is super embarrassing!
This may not solve your problem Paul, but I’ve noticed that if you hit esc or alt-tab in and out of the app, once the pause ends you can resume whatever you were doing without losing gmask shapes, for example.
