Today’s 30 second Flame Capsule demonstrates how to keep rendered Timeline FX after a background export.
Normally when you have unrendered Timeline FX in a sequence, a background export will render the Timeline FX first and than perform the export. Once the export completes, Flame keeps any cached renders that were created as part of the export process.
If you don’t want to keep these cached renders after a background export, then simply uncheck KEEP TIMELINE FX RENDERED in the export advanced options.
This only applies to background exporting.
Foreground exporting will export whatever it sees in the sequence frame-buffer, therefore unrendered effects do not require any rendering prior to export.
