Upgrading Flame versions

Hey everyone,

I’m going to be upgrading from 2020 to 2022. Is it best to have everything archived off and completely uninstall the current version and do a fresh install or does that not matter? Can I just install 2022?

Also, I am running softraid with my thunderbay, will I have to point the new version of flame to this as the stone or will the preferences remain?

You can have multiple Flame versions installed at once. Preferences will remain.

Absolutely archive your stuff. But, you absolutely can just install 2022.

Softraid works just fine and is agnostic of Flame. The preferences SHOULD stay, but, its 3 clicks to setup the framestore IF you backup all yo stuff.
