How does one get the Vray velocity pass to work in flame? I am getting weird results with it jittering all over the place and also not correctly changing the alpha, its just very weird.
The pass works fine in nuke using vectorBlur, is there a better way to do that in flame?

Is this equivalent to a motion vectors pass or is the Vray velocity pass something different?

Its a motion vectors pass , just called velocity, i dont know exactly how its calculated and how it works, as its vray specific, nuke has a preset for vray velocity passes.
Looking at the example elements, it does not look like a typical motion vectors pass from Arnold or Maya.
Would need to get some samples to do a bit of testing.
