Aliased pro res exports

I am animating red text (not 100% red) on a blue background in batch, in aces. I have EWA+Linear filtering on. I convert it to rec 709. Everything looks good on my tv and on my monitor. I export a prores and all of the red text is crazy aliased. If I export a prores 4444, the problem goes away. A colleague does a similar animation test with the same assets in Fusion - exports a 422 prores and it looks fine.

Any thoughts as to why my exports are so janky and his are fine?

chroma subsampling. red & blue is so high contrast.

curious why fusion exports are much cleaner than flame… anything that I can do to make it better?
