so here’s the second irony:

this laptop is brand new. I had an older one which also did not have space issues and that’s what the poll was about, but since I made the poll I got this new one and completely blatted the older one.

So I deleted imovie on 2 laptops, but also restored it on one.

I find the history of keying absolutely fascinating and I came across this article which talks about the developer who helped create the 3D keyer and the Master keyer, Daniel Pettigrew.

This article from Mike Seymour at FXguide talks about the evolution of digital keying. It was written in 2005 so is a little out of date but a fascinating read.
